Bubbles for Sale
Category: People 'n Portraits
I saw this lady as soon as we got out of the van, after the grand safari at Bannerghatta:

I quickly changed the lens to Canon EF 180mm f/3.5L (macro) lens and started shooting. Only later I realized that I forgot to change the settings chosen for the 400mm f/5.6, which was Av mode, f/6.3, and high ISO-800 for a 1/500s exposure. I should have switched to ISO-200 or so and used a wider shutter for a lower DoF. Nevertheless, I liked what I got!

Just an observation - I've seen your photos - portraits majorly, taken using the 180mm macr lens. Any particular reason??

The best thing I liked in this picture is the rainbow effect in bubbles and the lady's concentration in doing her job.

Prashanth: Just that 180mm is a good focal length for candid / semi-candid portraits and I dont have any other lens in that range. Wait till I buy a 70-200 ;-)

Mridula: Thnx Mridula

Nisha: Me too ... the rainbow colors is the reason why I even took this shot :)

Mohkum: Thank you

Joshi: Nice to hear that from you Joshi :) But, I felt the background cud be a little more cleaner with a slightly wider shutter
